Protein French Toast
The only thing better than French toast is protein enriched french toast. Perfect for a macro friendly sweet breakfast.

Serves 2:
200ml almond milk
1 egg
1 scoop (25g) salted caramel protein powder (or any flavour you prefer)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
4 slices medium-sliced wholemeal bread
80g fresh mixed berries
1 tsp low-calorie chocolate syrup
spray light oil for cooking
Ingredients

Whisk the almond milk, egg, protein powder, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a wide mixing bowl.

Dip each slice of the wholemeal bread in the mix, making sure you completely coat both sides in the eggy mixture.

Place a large frying pan over a medium heat and coat the base with spray light oil. Fry each slice of bread for around 3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.

Scatter the berries over your French toast and drizzle with the chocolate syrup to serve.
